So we went to Furniture Direct Store and was met with the MOST unprofessional idiotic Salesman who also is a LIAR. He stated to my son that the delivery person had attempted to call him on Monday, (However there is no record of a call placed to my son's cell) to make the delivery, and got no answer.
Wish we would have sooner. We started looking at beds and when to other stores and every store we went to they tried to push us into buying as soon as we got there
My son purchase a couch on Tuesday, was promise that it would be delivered on Saturday at 7 PM. When it got close to that time he called to get the status of the delivery, and was told that it would be delivered first thing on MONDAY MORNING. Monday came and again no delivery. Tuesday morning my son called and inform me (I am his Dad) that the couch was not delivered again as promise.
Finally we went to Furniture Direct and as soon as we got there they was nice. They never pushed us they asked what we wanted and listened to us then gave us the best deal around
He did placed a called at 6:14 PM Monday and the call got dropped which means he could not have had a conversation with my son. We check the cellphone and the salesman call lasted 0.00 minutes on the cellphone timer Needless to say: Note he call at 6:14 PM. after the delivery person call him at the store. Delivery was promise on Monday morning first thing. Delivery and being prompt punctual on a scale of 1 to 10 they are an 11. Need I say more. I give them negative 5 stars.

If Furniture Direct was the last place on Earth to buy furniture I would sit on boxes the rest of my life. They have no business being in Business. First and foremost they need to have salesperson that knows how to deal with the public in more tactful and professional manner.
I really wish I would have read the reviews before I decided to buy from this place!! First off, they are a bunch of idiots that don't know what they are doing. I was told when I ordered my bed set that it would be delivered in 10-14 days, which I was okay with considering it was being ordered. It ended up being almost 6 weeks!! Then, when I finally had it "dropped off" and opened the boxes, my headboard was cracked and broken! When I tried to call them back about it, they didn't answer the phone!!! I think I might have to report them to the better business bureau.
He further stated that he himself has also called my son's cell, talked to him, and that my son had agreed to the delivery on Tuesday. Which is absolutely a big LIE. It beg to the fact that he did not call, because Why else would we be in his Store on Tuesday morning wanting to know why the delivery was not made Monday as promise. It does not take a rocket scientist to figured that out.
We ordered 2 leather couches with 2 matching recliners. The salesman told us that if we ordered that day, he would give us the price we wanted, so we went ahead and put 50% down. We were told that they would be delivered in 2 weeks. 2 weeks came and went with no phone call. We called back to find out what was going on and was told that the items were on a truck and that they would arrive at their location the following week. We waited another week….still no word. When we called back to ask what the heck was going on, the salesperson (who had horrible personal skills) got upset with me telling me that the invoice stated that it could take up to 30 days to get couches delivered. I told him understood that, but that I had been told twice now that it would be delivered and that the last time we spoke I was specifically told a date it would arrive at the store. He kept telling me that "they" wouldn't answer his calls (the manufacture I suppose?) and that he couldn't get answers. He said he'd keep trying and call me back the beginning of the next week. Still no call. By Wednesday we had called him to ask what was going on, and he said he had no idea where our couches were and said he would just refund our money. It has now been 10 days since that conversation. We called to confirm the refund a few days ago and he assured us it had been refunded, but we still have not seen it (it would show up by now). So it has now been a month since our purchase date, we have no furniture and we have no refund. Do not do business with them. Run the other direction.
Darrell is a first class prick! And Roger is a stereotypical Mexican thief. I hate to sound racist but being of Latino descent this is what he reminds me of.... I have located all my receipts and Darrell still calls me demanding money even though his employee Roger took my money and pocketed it. I still owe them $96 but I'm not paying a dime until Roger man's - up and admits he made a mistake or stole my money. Darell threatens me with small claims court instead of working with me. Anyway moral of the story is do not do business with them. You WILL regret it!!!
